The Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education consists of five main branches:
Turkish Language Education
Turkish Language and Literature Education
Social Studies Education
Geography Education
History Education
Of these branches, students are enrolled in the Turkish Language, Turkish Language and Literature, and Social Studies Education departments. The Turkish Language Education Department trains teachers for Turkish language courses in middle schools, the Social Studies Education Department trains teachers for social studies and other courses in middle schools, and the Turkish Language and Literature Education Department trains teachers for Turkish language and literature courses in high schools.
Our department has seven professors, three associate professors, five assistant professors, and three assistant professors.
